Event Rules & Code of Conduct

Welcome to the event! To ensure a safe, fun, and memorable experience for everyone, all attendees, cosplayers, photographers, and staff are required to adhere to the following rules. Entry into the event constitutes agreement to this Code of Conduct.

1. General Admission & Badges

• Keep it Visible: Event badges/wristbands must be worn and visible at all times within the venue.

• Non-Transferable: Wristbands and badges belong to the original purchaser and cannot be shared or traded.

• Age Restrictions: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times.

2. Harassment & Consent (The "Cosplay is Not Consent" Rule)

• Ask First: Always ask for permission before taking a photo or video of a cosplayer or attendee.

• Zero Tolerance: Harassment of any kind—including stalking, intimidation, unwelcome physical contact, verbal abuse, or inappropriate comments—will result in immediate removal from the event without a refund.

• Respect Personal Space: If someone says "no" to a photo, conversation, or interaction, respect their boundaries immediately.

3. Dress Code & Cosplay Guidelines

• Public Decency: All costumes must comply with local public decency laws. "No shirt, no shoes, no service" applies. Ensure adequate coverage (swimsuits/revealing cosplays must be properly secured to avoid wardrobe malfunctions).

• Footwear: Shoes or solid footwear must be worn at all times (even if your character is barefoot, wear invisible shoes or skin-tone flats for safety).

• Oversized Outfits: If your cosplay is massive or restricts your vision, you must have a "handler" (a friend) to guide you through crowds safely.

4. Weapon & Prop Policy

All prop weapons must be checked and approved at the Prop Inspection Desk near the entrance.

• Strictly Prohibited: Live firearms, ammunition, functional projectile weapons (including strung bows or loaded Nerf guns), metal blades (swords, knives, axes), and explosives/fireworks.

• Permitted Props: Lightweight materials such as foam, plastics, cardboard, and lightweight wood (Balsa).

• Peace-Bonding: Approved props will be tagged. If you remove the tag or brandish a prop aggressively, you will be asked to leave.

5. Venue Etiquette & Safety

• Keep Aisles Clear: Do not block hallways, doorways, or artist/vendor aisles for impromptu photo shoots. Please utilize designated photography zones.

• No Loitering/Sitting on Floors: To prevent tripping hazards, please use designated seating areas to rest.

• Alcohol & Substance Use: Illegal substances are strictly banned. Alcohol may only be consumed by those of legal age in designated licensed areas of the venue.

⚠️ Enforcement: Event management reserves the right to deny entry or eject any individual who violates these rules, behaves disruptively, or poses a safety risk to others, without entitlement to a refund.
